Oil Painting: Eggplant Study - WIP
Toned the background with Cadmium Yellow. Started on underpainting drawing of the eggplant.
Only had a limited palette colors of just red, blue, yellow and white. I mixed my own colors before I start the painting. I ended up a tolal of 15-20 different range of colors mixed.
Then I worked on the background using 3-4 different light colors. Carefully painted around the eggplant and finished the painting. It probably took me approximately 2-3 hours on this painting.
